Budget 2026–27: A Visionary Blueprint for a Developed Rajasthan @2047
Jaipur | 11 February 2026
The Government of Rajasthan today unveiled its ambitious Budget 2026–27, presented by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister (Finance) Smt. Diya Kumari, charting a bold and transformative roadmap toward Viksit Rajasthan @2047. Rooted in the guiding principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,” the budget reflects a decisive commitment to inclusive growth, fiscal discipline, and long-term structural reform.
A Stronger, Expanding Economy
Backed by strategic financial management and structural reforms, Rajasthan’s economy has demonstrated remarkable momentum. The state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) is projected to witness substantial growth, while per capita income has shown significant upward movement—underscoring the government’s focus on prosperity for every citizen. The benefits of this accelerated growth are reaching over 8 crore residents across the state.
Social Security with Compassion
In a powerful affirmation of welfare governance, over 91 lakh beneficiaries have received social security pensions amounting to approximately ₹28,400 crore. The government has ensured that no vulnerable individual remains beyond the reach of welfare schemes, reinforcing its commitment to dignity and inclusion.
Empowering Youth & Farmers
Transparent and timely recruitment examinations have opened new avenues of employment for Rajasthan’s youth.
Under farmer welfare initiatives, more than 76 lakh farmers have received financial assistance exceeding ₹10,900 crore. Additionally:
A bonus above MSP on wheat procurement has been provided.
Over 2 lakh new agricultural electricity connections have strengthened rural productivity.
These measures collectively fortify the backbone of Rajasthan’s agrarian economy.
Women-Led Development
Women empowerment stands at the heart of the budget vision. Through initiatives such as nutrition support, skill development, entrepreneurship promotion, and solar empowerment schemes, women across Rajasthan are being transformed into self-reliant leaders of change.
Historic Push to Infrastructure
Infrastructure expansion forms the first pillar of the Viksit Rajasthan @2047 strategy.
A record capital expenditure exceeding ₹30,000 crore has been undertaken.
Approximately 42,000 km of roads have been developed or strengthened.
₹1,800 crore allocated for State Highways, flyovers, bridges, and elevated roads.
₹1,400 crore earmarked for renewal of non-patchable and damaged roads.
₹600 crore provisioned for missing link roads.
₹920 crore allocated for construction of ROBs/RUBs at key railway crossings to ensure seamless mobility.
The expansion of rural connectivity, industrial access roads, and logistics corridors is poised to accelerate trade, tourism, and investment across the state.
Industrial Growth & Green Commitment
The budget reinforces industrial expansion by allocating ₹400 crore for connectivity to industrial zones and logistics parks. Simultaneously, Rajasthan continues its environmental stewardship through its pioneering Green Budget approach—ensuring sustainability aligns with economic ambition.
Resilient Development & Future-Ready Governance
Special provisions have been made for repair and reconstruction of infrastructure damaged by excessive rainfall, ensuring resilience against climate challenges.
The Budget 2026–27 stands as more than a financial statement—it is a declaration of intent. It embodies a transition from commitment to achievement, from policy to performance, and from aspiration to accomplishment.
With disciplined governance, visionary planning, and people-centric policies, Rajasthan is firmly on the path toward becoming a developed, self-reliant, and globally competitive state by 2047.
